Dr. Desmer Destang, FECAMS, is an internationally recognised expert Cosmetic Facial Surgeon and aesthetic dermatology and facial rejuvenation, with over 25 years of clinical experience and a distinguished academic background spanning orthodontics, dermatology, and aesthetic medicine.

Holding multiple advanced Master’s degrees, Dr. Destang is widely regarded as a leading authority in aesthetic medicine, particularly in the treatment of diverse skin types and skin of colour. Her work integrates dentofacial analysis, dermatological science, facial surgery  and aesthetic precision to deliver highly individualised, scientifically grounded treatment outcomes.

She has contributed extensively to the global advancement of aesthetic medicine through clinical research, publications, and international teaching. Her expertise in areas such as microneedling, chemical peels, pigmentation disorders, and advanced facial rejuvenation has led to the development of widely adopted treatment protocols and skincare innovations used across multiple countries.

To further refine her expertise in surgical and advanced facial procedures, Dr. Destang completed the Fellowship in Aesthetic Facial Surgery at ECAMS—an internationally recognised, competency-based training in Aesthetic Facial Surgery.

As part of this fellowship, she successfully completed:

• Structured online theoretical training and formal assessments
• Advanced surgical training including blepharoplasty, brow lift, and face & neck lift procedures on both cadaveric and live models
• Faculty-led practical evaluations assessing technique, precision, and clinical judgement
• Clinical mentoring and submission of verified case logbooks

In addition, she has undertaken specialised training in hair restoration through ECAMS, further expanding her expertise in comprehensive aesthetic care.
