Dr. Pablo Gonzalez

Dr Pablo Gonzalez is Head of the Department of Aesthetic Genital Rejuvenation at ECAMS. He is a pioneering surgeon in the field of aesthetic gynaecology, recognised internationally for his expertise in both surgical and non-surgical genital procedures. At ECAMS, Dr Gonzalez leads structured, hands-on training that ensures doctors gain confidence, precision, and safety in this delicate and highly specialised area of aesthetic surgery.

As Head of Department, Dr Gonzalez is responsible for advancing the curriculum, overseeing the development of new training modules, and maintaining ECAMS’ global leadership in genital aesthetics education.

Dr Gonzalez has specialised in obstetrics and gynaecology for the last 10 years and is considered a pioneer in aesthetic gynaecology in Colombia. Based in Colombia, Dr Gonzalez was the founder and director of the Urogynecology Pelvic Floor Reconstructive Surgery Unit at Hospital Universitario San Jorge Pereira, Colombia. He also worked as Assistant Professor in Urogynecology and Gynecology Technology at Universidad Del Area Andina Pereira, Colombia.

Dr Gonzalez acquired unique training experiences from some of the world’s most renowned experts when cosmetic gynaecology was still in its infancy. Through his own pioneering work, artistic skill, and clinical focus, he has refined and modified several techniques in order to offer patients highly effective treatments with natural and aesthetically balanced outcomes.

He is also the creator of a patented technique for the management of labia minora hypertrophy known as Topographic Labiaplasty. This technique has been published internationally in textbooks translated into English, Spanish, Turkish, German, and Russian.

In addition, Dr Gonzalez published a dedicated book focusing on the aesthetic and functional problems of the labia majora, further contributing to the advancement of education in aesthetic gynaecology.

Since 2017, Dr Gonzalez has also served as Coordinator for the Specialisation Course in Aesthetic Gynecology at the University of Barcelona.

To date, Dr Gonzalez has trained more than 300 gynaecologists and plastic surgeons in cosmetic gynaecology. He has published widely in national and international peer-reviewed journals and has authored several book chapters on non-surgical procedures in cosmetic gynaecology. He also co-authored the publications:
• “A New Hyaluronic Acid Polymer in the Augmentation and Restoration of Labia Majora”
• “In Vitro Evaluation of the Biosafety of Hyaluronic Acid PEG Cross-Linked with Micromolecules of Calcium Hydroxyapatite in Low Concentration”

Dr Gonzalez is an active member of several international societies and previously served as President of the World Society of Cosmetic Gynecology. He was also the founder and president of the Asociacion De Ginecologos Esteticos Colombianos.

Additionally, Dr Gonzalez collaborates scientifically with organisations including DEKA, Rennova Laboratories, and Lafrancol Laboratories in research and educational activities.
